feeding bubble tip

i was wandering whats yalls opinion on how much to feed a bta and wut is best to feed it and if i should use any nutrition additives to help keep it healthy. right not i feed it silversides about once a week and it has done fine but i was jus being little curious

what you are doing now sounds just fine. I don't like using additives in the water as over time, it will create water issues. You might want to occasionally feed raw cocktail shrimp as a change...

I think you don't need to feed it at all. The more you feed it though, the faster it will grow. I stopped feeding mine b/c it was growing too quickly. It's been 3+ months w/o feeding and my BTA hasn't shown any sign of failing.

alright ya mine has gotten pretty big i will still feed it but not nearly as much as i have been thanks

I have never fed mine for several years except plankton and he has doubled in size. Matter of fact here he is. I have some in my gallery also.
