Hey all, so i have a figure 8 puffer and i have a big container of Xtreme cichlid pellets, and i wanted to see if he ate them, and he ended up really enjoying them. These pellets are excellent quality and arguably the best available pellet along with NLS. Is okay for me to work them into the puffers diet? So far he eats a combination of frozen bloodworms, snails and RCS. I think it would be a good idea to work in this pellet as it is packed with nutrients. Any negatives to this? let me know, thanks!

Cool you got you fish to eat its vitamins pills. Go for it since it works.
If you want vitamins, then earthworms are also a good choice. They are packed full of vitamins and protein. They also keep your puffs stomach nicely rounded for a longer period of time compared to feeding blood worms.

I feed mine cooked shrimp too, the little ones that go on salads, and red worms, and also ghost shrimp. they love them all.

I fed mine snails and crayfish. Plus frozen bloodworms.
Hikari canivore food sticks (pellets) have also been accepted.
