New to all of this but what could be going wrong? I have 12 platys and 2 have died in two weeks. Just took a close look and looks like I have 2 fry though. What do I need to do????

How large is the tank? Is it cycled? What are your parameters? Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate? Do you do water changes weekly?

ok first we need all your info. tank size, water parameters, age, how long you have had the fish and any other fish in the tank. also if you can post pictures of your sick fish that would be very helpful.

My tank is a 30 gallon freshwater. It is cycled. I followed the guide to fishless cycling. It took 2 months to cycle but have only had fish in it for around 3 weeks. Have not done a water change since the three weeks the fish have been in there. I have silk plants, a petsmart stump and sand for my substrate. I will see if I can snap a pic and post on here of what they are looking like. My parameters are...
ammo - .25 maybe 0
no3 - 40ppm
no2 - 0ppm
ph - 7.6

Note: I like to do my water test during the day so I can feel like im getting a better read due to the natural light. So these numbers are probably pretty accurate but not an expert at reading colors under a regular light in my kitchen. I am using the API master test kit also.

Looks like an ick fin rot combo

Another dead one. Any help would be appreciated. Looks like I am about to lose my aquarium.

Increase the temp slowly to 86 F

Do 50% water changes every 2-3 days. The ich spores fall to the substrate and will need to be removed.

Keep this method going for 2 weeks minimum.

Some people will also add aquarium salt and have great luck with that for treating ich.

Bad water params will lead to fin rot. Your nitrates are a bit high. Water changes will help lower that.
