I just got my API gh/kh tests. It took 4 drops of GH solution to change from color from blue to yellow. According to the chart that gives me a reading of 71.6 ppm. With the KH test it took 7 drops of solution to go from orange to green which according to the chart give me a reading of 125.3 ppm. The GH reading is slightly low for invertebrates according to the chart. Do I need to change anything in my tank? Are these results alright?

29 gallon tank
diy CO2
3 CFL 20 watt bulbs in metal clamp lights
planted with Christmas moss, ludwigia, penny wort, money wort, dwarf sag, amazon sword, water lettuce.
ghost shrimp
apple snails
Mollies (currently in QT tank because of sickness)

Those are really good numbers for a planted tank IMO. You need both to be around 4 but no lower and your about spot on.

If your apple snail and shrimp are doing fine, I wouldn't worry about it. Those parameters are fine for most planted tanks.
