Fish Highway

Saw this on a cichlid forum I was browsing. Rather impracticle for my purposes but it would be really cool if the fish did swim in it. http://www.fishighway.com/

It does look cool, but the question is, would the fish swim in it? I'm having a hard enough time trying to convince my fish to swim through a transparent section of piping that's right in the tank. I've tried all sorts of things to give them incentives, but the sorry clown loaches still mostly avoid it. It looks really cool when they do go through it, though.

How do you clean something like that? The one from Menagerie's post could be easy, but that one from Zagz would be a bear.

They say it doesn't need to be cleaned as it is a closed system and the filters are supposed to keep it clean, I find it difficult to believe myself but that is what they say.
