Fish ID Please

Here is a pic of a Malawi, ~2". Was blue when I got him at about 1.5". Is it a Maingano based on its coloring?

I actually have two that I got from my LFS in the DFW TX area. Tank had both male and female juveniles and all were blue, so I too thought that they were Mainganos. I think they were named something else but I don't recall, something beginning with Mb...

It has got the markings of a P.interruptus but females are supposed to be yellow??

I just went to the LFS and found that the females are not blue but whitish-yellowish. This means, I guess that these are not Maingano and perhaps P. Interruptus?

Looks a lot like my avitar. He was labeled 'show blue johonni... Its hard to say really.

this is deffs not a maingano they have clearer horizontal lines
