I am going to be upgrading my 20g reef to a 40g tank that I am picking up tomorrow. I also have a batch of dry rock coming that needs to be cycled.
Since I have 4 fish that need to go through a hyposalinity treatment for ich I was wondering if it would be a good idea to keep them in the same tank as my dry rock that needs to be cycled and kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
Would there be any potential problems from doing this?
