this morning when i turn on my refugium light i found a flatworm gliding on the glass (low water movement tank with 3 pipe fish in it)
it is Amphiscolops sp. the harmless one that wetwebmedia describe.
however, i am still wondering if it will harm the population of codpods since it can reproduce really fast. And i also wonmdering if pipefish eat them as well.

I dont really know the answer to either of you questions, but regardless of the answers you should try to get rid of them before they grow into nuisance proportions. I had quite a bad case once. Started with just a few and in a month or so it was hundreds. Watch out for them suckers!

I've never had them get to plague proportions, nor did they decimate the copod population and eventually died out on their own. I don't think the pipefish will eat them but I'm not totally sure.
