I have a salt water tank (75g boring) and I noticed these little fellers on the tank and in my green hair algae. They look a lot like fleas but I do not think they are pods because they are much smaller. I do have some pods wiggling around d so possibly they are babies but I don't think so, also I don't have any fish in the tank yet so probably not over feeding. Any ideas? The pic isn't great but its because they are so small, it isn't the large blob in the back but the tiny specs.

Can you get a better pic? Is that whole thing what your talking about it looks like it may be some pods

Pods is short for copepods, amphipods, isopods, and any other "pod" you want to toss in there...The smallest pods you will see with the naked eye are copepods. Then isopods, then amphipods. Copepods look like this-

most of the isopods we see in our tanks look like this-

Notice the asterina star for size---

And amphipods look like this-

Ya I don't think that is what it is, like I said they are much smaller, about the size of a pinhead and there a boatload of them although they seem mostly concentrated on one side of my tank (oddly enough the side that has the better flow.)
