How often should I change my filters media?!

Filter Media
Hello Ross...
lf you use the type of filter that hangs on the back of the tank, you don't need to change it very often. Just squeeze out the media in some of the old water change water and put it back in the filter.
If after a few weeks, the media is starting to fall apart, then replace it. But don't replace everything at once, just a portion at a time, and rinse the new medium in some of the old tank water before putting it into the filter.
