I've worked out the formulas for flow rate through a 9W sterilizer and found that my sterilizer will be 99% effective with a flow rate of 45-55gph. That rate will turn my tank about 2.5 times a day. Is that sufficient?

Thanks

Bill

You want very slow flow through your UV and very fast flow through your tank. Your tank should turn 10-20 times AN HOUR, so turning your tank 2.5x a day, while it may be good for your UV will not support your tank properly. I have my uv on a loop out of and back into my wet/dry and then a return pump from my wet/dry to my main. HTH!
