Fluval 305 adnd 306

i started a new 75 gallon tank and only have a fluval 305 for now. I have just ordered another fluval 306 and it should be coming in about a week. Now i want to know was this a good idea or should i rather have a HOB filter.

I think you'll be fine with those two. The 305/6 are rated for 70g tanks each. I ordered a 406 (rated at 100g) yesterday for my 75g.

I was gonna go with 406 but then i decided to buy a 306 because i already have a 305 running. I am just amazed how smooth and quiet the 305 is, you will be more than happy with 406.

I just got 2 206s for Christmas, they are much better than the '5 series. You'll love the 6.

I'm liking my 305 plenty. Lots of media options, runs quiet & easy to get apart for a rinse. Overkill on my 36G but it was a great deal.
