Fluval Liquid Ferts

Does anyone have any experience with these? I was about to walk out with flourish and I let the kid at the LFS talk me into Fluval's version. It's supposed to be dosed 1x/wk. I'm going on 3 weeks and I've seen zero improvement. Anyone have any insight?

What's your setup like (i.e. tank size, lighting) and plants you have in there?

55 gallon. Finnex planted+. Swords, ludwegia, grasses, micro swords. Dwarf onion.

Personally I would do PPS-PRO by GLA. It's dry ferts and it's easy to mix. Also much easier on your wallet for this size tank. I use PPS on my 75g

I am also starting using root tabs today.

Yup.. go dry ferts for sure. I also use PPS-Pro GLA. I'd also start dosing Glut (liquid carbon, like excel). Grasses, ludwigia, and micro swords will do much better. Root tabs under the Swords. What's your photoperiod?

Cool.. ferts + carbon source (co2 or glut) will supercharge your growth success then.
