Flyerfridge's tank

I am letting my frags try and take off before I do anything right now. I just recently purchased a montipora frag and Pavona frag. Cleaning the tank today I broke the Pavona. The first picture is of the whole frag I purchased. I have never tried to frag before so I just glued the broken piece to a plug. (See the next two pictures) Will this work or is that frag just going to wither away?.
