Foam on top of water

I've woken up today to some foam on top of the water. Reading it might be a build up of protein? Fish seem healthy enough. Going to do a water change. Anything else I should be doing?

Sounds a bit odd. Had you added any chemicals recently as that would be my suspect. How is it going?

If you have groumies or a betta it could be a bubble nest.
