Aquarium Advice Newbie
New to the site, but not to the hobby.
We decided it was time for some freshwater action. It has been many years since this tank has been fresh. Probably somewhere around 22 years. Where has the time gone???
Anyhow, complete teardown, new setup from the ground up. Went with PFS/Aragonite substrate, lace rock, a little lava rock, and some plasti-green for giggles.
Filtration is an Aquaclear 110, and a Magnum 350. Both maxed out for biofiltration.
Commenced fishless cycle this afternoon.
We've got plenty of time to figure out our stocking list.
