I think i may have a mantis shrimp in my live rocks. I did a salted carbonated water dip but nothing came out. I was thinking of trying either a freshwater or high salinity dip. What is the difference in the two in terms of perserving life and corrline algae?

I would try a hypo salinity dip first. Maybe 1.008-1.009 to see if that will get the thing out.
