I have some frogbit in my tank that I got a few days ago. When I got them, none of them had runners, they were just little baby frogbit. Now, after less than a week, each one has multiple runners with multiple leaves on each runner. My question it, do you cut the runners or will they do that on their own?

You can leave them together to form large mats or if the plantlets have enough roots you can cut the runners off.

Mine never did but I liked them in a clump that I could just remove some runners to keep it the size I wanted. I'm doing the same thing right now with Water hyacinth's in a 55g.
