I have a dwarf African clawed frog. I also have a small infestation of snails in the tank. I was watching the frog and I have seen it a few times attempting to eat the snails. The frog would sneak up on the snail and lunge at them. I do not know if he is actually eating the snails or if he just is trying to eat them. Are these frogs known to eat snails??

I'm not sure, but I know their eyesight is horrible... So he probably thinks it's food. If your having snail problems... An assassin snail or two will take care of them.

Yes, they should eat any small softer shelled snails that they can get ahold of.
