Frozen food - good or bad?

I ve read where several people say their fish have acqiured parasites from frozen bloodworms, etc. Anyone have personal experience or opinion on this? What about the frozen Spirulina ? Thanks guys.

I've fed frozen bloodworm for a couple of years and had no problems and others.

My understanding is that it's live foods that typically pass along parasites. I feed frozen foods once or twice a week, so far no issues.
