Iv had a male and female from juveniles and have been happily living together for months but tonight they are appearing to be fighting with each. It's seems as if they are head butting and it's the males that's instigating it.

Is this normal? Are they getting ready to breed or should I be concerned?

Yeah, probably getting ready to breed. Mine will chase each other around for a couple days before breeding. Just make sure you have hiding spots for the female to hide if she get's stressed.

I've noticed this behavior as well, but only after the lights are off. Following along.
