Gh too low?

I don't have a liquid test kit for gh and kh yet but my water quality report states that my water is very soft and the general hardness is <3dgh

What should my gh be to keep plants in my aquarium?

I think around 4 is the target..

Ok thanks well I've just added some crushed coral to the filter and bought some micronutrients. Hopefully the plants will respond.

Oh well plants - I'm out. I think I should just buy plastic ones
