Ghost shrimp being eaten

I found one of my black skirt tetras snacking on a ghost shrimp last night has anyone else had this type of behavior? I bought 10 shrimp and can only find 4 down from 5 yesterday before the one was eaten, and i am seeing fat black skirts.

Should I increase my feedings to twice a day instead of one???

I wouldnt think they would eat them since they arent that big. In any case, clearly shrimp are not great tank mates for your particular fish.

The one I saw yesterday just had the back half in its mouth, but of i gave ths fish more time I am sure he would have eaten the shrimp all the way

Oh yes. I have 10 Black Tetras. Next best thing to having Tiger Barbs.
