Going away

Hey guys I'm going away tomorrow night and I don't have a time for my lights or automatic feeder for my fish I do have other people at my house who can feed and turn the lights on and off but weather or not the do it is another question so.... Should I leave my lights off completely and just get someone to feed my fish or should I try get someone to turn the lights on and off for me I have LPS corals and 3 mushrooms

They can go without food. Just feed before you leave.

Can you buy a cheap timer at say CVS, Target even your local hardware store? You should have them on a timer anyway for consistency...

If not the I'd have sometime turn your lights on for a little while at least. Your LPS will be happier, the mushrooms I don't think would be an issue.

Maybe others have better ideas or have more experience so hopefully they chime in.

You can get fancy timers but just as effective and much cheaper would be any timer outlet from a hardware store. Plug it in set on off times and leave light switch in on position. Probably cheaper then anything at an lfs

You can get them at bunnings. I got one with 3 outlets on it...

Well I got back haven't tested the water yet but here is a few pics of my corals my plate has gone exploring should I move it back?
