Hey everyone, I'm trying to set up a tropical 10 gallon planted tank, and its my first time trying a planted. Does anyone know of any easy to grow plants I could plant? I was thinking of som tallish plants in the back and wrapping up the sides and some shorter ones in the front/middle.

I keep java fern and a species of anubias in my 10 gallon and they do not need very much maintenance. If your looking for a small plant I've heard java moss is popular. (Though it grows pretty fast and might require trimming every once and a while.)

What type of lighting and bulbs are you using? Lighting will determine the type of plants you can grow.

That is just the color spectrum rating. Different types of lights will give off different levels of light.
