Today i pirchased a green phantom pleco for $60 at my LFS

I currently have him in a 24gal
Is that too small?
I do plan on getting a long tank of about 35-40 gallons but not until september or so

What should i be feeding him?
I currently am using hikari algae waffers
Should i be supplementing his diet with frozen foods or vegtables?

They're going to need at least a 55 gallon tank as they get about 8" some even a foot. But treat him/her as a normal pleco except the phantoms are a little bit more carnivorous and need more meat in their diet.

It depends on how small he is and how fast he'll grow but preferably not you should've waited until you got the larger tank.
