Green spotted puffer sick?

I just bought a green spotted puffer he is in a 20 gallon brackish tank. I literally just released him into his new home and noticed he has a red dot on his under throat? He is also not eating. Should I be concerned?

I just bought one yesterday and he is already eating I noticed he won't touch flakes or pellets. And wont eat if i am infrint of the tank he is very skiddish right now.What have you tried feeding him?

Did he come from a freshwater tank at the LFS??
Is the 20g brackish tank cycled??
Any tankmates?
What is the current salinity level, what kind of salt are you using, and how do you measure the salinity?
What are you trying to feed currently?


I'm not concerned about your GSP not eating for the first few days. I'm concerned whether or not you have a good tank setup and proper acclimation.
