Help feeding kuhli loaches

Hi I just got some new kuhli loaches for my tank. Unfortunately I've noticed that after I turn the lights off to feed them at night my betta has been stealing their food! What can I so to resolve this?

Piece of tubing and send the food next to them.

Feed right before the lights go out, and spot feed them (drop the food in their face) after you distract the betta with food on the other end of the tank.
