Help identify German Blue Ram sex please!

So the guy at my local fish store said that my ram was a male but I'm just not too sure. I want to get a second one of the opposite sex so they can pair up. My ram has a flat tail fin, I have been reading that the males have more of a V shaped to their tail fins. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

My guess is female... Although 1 factor seems to be no black spot... Hmmmm. Dorsal rays say female IMHO.

Anal fin hits tail fin...
Male!
Gillie and I don't always agree either....
Head and belly say male to me also...
No real dorsal spikes(no biggy) as I females with large spikes.

see its not easy. Some things indicate that its a male. But it also has some female characteristics.

Yeah, dorsal spikes are my go-to and by that it looks female. But there's no surefire way apart from watching them lay eggs.
