Thanks, I have been through a couple of those types of pages and didn't find anything quite right. This things is quite large (more than 1/2").

Odonata, damselflies

I bought some floating plants for my tank today. I went to do a final check on my new additions before heading to bed and their was a damselfly newly hatched sitting on my plants. Thankfully it had only recently emerged so I was able to catch it without any difficulty. Tomorrow I get to deal with my nymph and his flying friend. Not what I was expecting when I decided to drop the plastic plants and get some real ones.
