Hey all,

I am moving to a new home, we currently have a 55g tank, but when we move we want to upgrade.

I was looking at a 120g, but the 24" deep is too big, so that put me back down to a 90g, but today I found a 110g Xtra High that is 48x18x29.

I only have 4' width to work with so I can't go to a 125g or 150g.

If I get the 110g I would get the 2x250w HQI & 2x96w CF light.

Which would be a better setup? No matter what I get, It will be drilled w/ overflow.

I would like to get bigger so we can have a powder blue tang, I don't do hard corals.

Is a longer tank, wider, or deeper tank better?

Thanks for the help,

Nothing wrong with that size. What are your plans for this tank. Will it be a reef? If so it looks like your lighting suggestion will be fine. My only suggestion would be for the powder blue that 6 feet of swimming area would be better. I know that is not possible but it could be a challenge for one in a 4 ft tank. Not saying it`s not possible but might be challenging. Make sure of proper amount of LR and a good skimmer. Good luck.
