Hi can anyone tell if it is necessary to have the right gpd filter I see one for 75 gpd 100 gpd 150 gpd want to make rodi water to store in a container like brut garbage can to have for use when I need to topoff water other small container to make saltwater for wc anyone can help.

Well guess it all depends on how long u want to take to fill up the garbage can

The more gallons per day produced the faster you will be filling

So a 100 gpd will be ok to fill a 30 gallon brute garbage can, Size is for speed I'm lost.

That would be more then enough GPd= gallons per day so depending on the size of the ro system it'll be how many gallons you'll be able to produce per day so if you wanted to make 100 of water and you only have a 35 GPd system it'll take you 3 days because your system is only capable of producing 35 GPd...now if you have a 100 GPd system you would be able to knock it out in one day of non stop filtering...get it?

A 30 gal. can would take about 8hrs to fill at 100gpd a 150 would take about 5 hrs a 35 would take 2 1/2 to 3 days.
