Is water conditioner the same as chlorine control. I have almost ran out and the shop that I normally buy everything from has closed down :/ so I was looking for a chlorine control but could only find water conditioner.

It should say on the bottle, but generally water conditioners are dechlorinators.

Your best bet may be to order a product called Prime from an online retailer such as drs foster and smith, amazon or bigalsonline. Prime seems to be the best and is what most on here use. I am not sure I can answer your question without knowing the brand names involved. Some products take chlorine and chloramines out and some help the fish's slime coats and some do both.
