Hi all, yes we have drift wood (logs with Anubias already growing on it, purchased from the LFS. Things are getting worse more build up everywhere. Worried my filter is not big enough for the tank as its was thick in brown sludge 1 week after cleaning it. Do I strip the tank down clean and reset? View attachment 266081

Adding a sponge filter to help take the heat or another filter altogether would be good if it's getting to that point in a week. Hard to tell from the pics but your ferts could be unbalanced causing some algae.

I'm no expert but I've given my 2¢ hope it helps you narrow it down
