help with new setup please!

hi there i have just upgraded to an aqua one 650 s and it comes with a

Aquis 1200 cannister filter, i have never had any experience with a cannister filter before so i was wondering about things like filter media, 1. what do i need
2. what is the best
3. how often do i change it
4. how often do i clean it

i was also wondering with the tank being a cube am i limited to the fish i can put in, its 220 litres but it isnt a long tank.

I clean my canister filter once a month, they are really pretty easy to clean.

I use two foam pads, two floss pads, bio balls, ceramic rings, and carbon. I know a lot of people replace the carbon with more floss though.

I have a Marineland 360. All you need to do is flip a switch up, and you can take the filter to any room in the house you want to clean it in.

Canister is the way to go! Good luck.
