Help with Toadstool Mushroom Coral

Yesterday my toadstool leather was fine and extended. I went to bed and woke up and he was developing white spots all over. Is he dying? All my params are good. When he sheds he usually gets "Waxy" this is just the base turning white.

Take a baster;if you have one;and use it to gently move water across to remove what looks like to me ,a slime coat..i get similar thing on my hair rock....i just clean it off ... All better

I know it sheds. Mine had shed over 10 times but this time it's turning white.
