My angels are picking my sprites and my rotala verticillaris clean. Is there anyway to get them to focus there attention elsewhere or can I just not keep these plants anymore. The verticillaris seems to be growing pretty quick so if anything ill keep it just as a snack for them but the sprites seem to be growing too slow to keep up with them. Any help would be appreciated.

not much u can do --i use sword plants and anarcis

Yea kinda what i thought. I'm thinking about stopping today to get something to replace them and probably getting some foreground plants and something to attach to my DW, thinking some kind of moss.

I keep 12 adult angels in a 220g heavily planted tank and the way to keep them from plant nibbling is by adding more greens into their diet. I cook, deshell, and smash peas and feed them along with some of the normal daily food about every 2-3 days. This really helps ALOT! If I slack off they go right to nibbling on the Rotala Wallichii. If you check out the links of my tanks at the bottom of the post you can see I have a ton of different plants in with them.

Yea I've seen, and am very jealous of your aquarium, its gorgeous. I'll have to try that with the peas, thanks for the tip.

Anybody know why the leaves on my swords are turning clear? All my other plants are healthy and growing. I'd assume its due to some kind of mineral deficiency, but I'm no expert so I'm hoping someone can help.

Tank specs are as follows

72gal bow
Ammo- 0
Trites-0
Trates-20ish
ph-7.2
gh- roughly 100 ppm
Kh- roughly 100 ppm
4 bulb t5 6500k - 8 hours of light on a timer 930am-730pm
AC 50 and penguin bio wheel 350
Eco-complete substrate capped with about and inch of black blasting sand. (Not really capped anymore, its more mixed now since I added plants and stirred the substrate some)
Not running co2 yet since I don't have a ton of plants in my tank. Dose seachem flourish twice a week after my pwc. Could it have something to do with co2?

Here are some pics of my two swords and how they are placed in the substrate. The last pic is how some of the leaves are beginning to look.
