Hi! I'm brand new to the whole fish business. My boyfriend wouldn't let me get a dog so he got me a fish tank instead. It's a 45 gallon bow front. I let it run for 48 hours and was told I could add fish. I've got 3 red platys, 3 tiger barbs, and 1 clown pleco that I added. Later, my boyfriend added 2 albino tiger barbs, 2 glo barbs, and 2 dennison barbs. I have since learned that that is WAY too many fish to add at once. So, I've been struggling with trying to cycle my tank and also keep my fish alive. I've had the tank up and running for 10 days now and just lost 1 glo barb. (He wasn't right to begin with). It seems everyone has an opinion on fish tanks and I'm so confused by all the advice I've received. So, I'm here to hopefully get some good advice to help me. I need all the help I can get. Thanks!
