Hey there new but old to aquariums, about 20 yrs ago i had a reef aquarium then life and kids got in the way.
Fastforward to now things have certainly changed the nitrogen cycle i didnt have a clue about it the internet was about but was in its infancy. So i had to brush up a bit and now im doing a freshwater semi planted community tank with my 10 yr old daughter. Anyways thats my story i live in sunny Oz as the name suggests on our coast more specifically the Eastern coast. So thats my story, oh and im also very new to plants and im currently wrestling with a bit of Java moss that giving me grief i may edit this and post a pic or ask in the appropriate section cheers all.
