As an introduction to how I got started - I was gifted a Betta one evening at dinner. My MIL had just passed away but before she did she asked her daughter to buy a Betta for my FIL for father's day. Well I guess 2 people got the memo, so I took the extra Betta. I went straight to the store and bought a bowl, food and a fake plant. No idea what to do next so I started searching and reading. That was 7 years, 3 Betta's and 4 tanks ago. I'm looking forward to being able to bounce things off folks who have maybe experienced the same things and those who are very knowledgeable and will let me pick their brains. I'm learning as I go. I've made mistakes, had some disasters and had successes. Mostly I'm hooked. But I know there's so much more for me to learn.
