Diving into this hobby after kicking the idea around for several years. Haven’t had a tank of my own since I was a young kid back in the late 80’s early 90’s.
Help a Coworker with his 150gal saltwater tank when he goes away on vacation but this freshwater I started last month is the first of my own in sometime.
Currently deal with a 7gal freshwater with some Celestial danios, 1 snail and a handful of red cherry shrimp. This is also my first time with live freshwater plants. Currently using 2 Java Ferns, 1 JF Windelov, 2 Anubias Nana Petites, 1 Bucephalandra, a several small sprouts of dwarf hair grass, cryptocorne parva scattered about and a small handful of salvinia to top it all off.
Looking forward to learning from all the aquarists here and making my tank the best it can be!
