Hi, my emperor 400 finally arrived today! I was actually really surprised by the huge size. Currently I have a 55 gallon tank that is 4' long, I have two hoods and two lights since there is a barrier down the middle of the tank.

The hole provided on the back of the hood actually does not fit my filter, what should I do in this case? If I were to cut it, how would I go about doing that? The size of the hole had dotted lines for me to cut, and it fits my whisper 60 perfectly.

Thanks in advance!

I cut mine with a hacksaw.

^Hacksaw or coping saw. Can you extend the size of the cut out from the other filter?
