I dont over feed and do frequent water changes as well. Today i put some new plants and i didn't rinsed them. After a while i saw a planaria worm in my tank. If there is one then there are more. I am sure they came with the plants.

I am having a big shipment of shrimps coming on Thursday so i don't have time to do any medication. I want to know if they are really that dangerous for shrimps as said in articles. Please share your experience.

Thanks.

Planaria pose a threat to shrimp fry according to most shrimp forums/groups.
I used Fenbendazole to eradicate an infestation in my neo tank a few years back.

Nuke the planaria. They will kill any beneficial snails too.
Thanks for the replies. Actually i didn't see any planaria again. I feed shrimps and usually they go crazy when food is there but i didn't see any Planaria. I think maybe some other worm came with the plant. Will keep my eyes opened.
