Hello

I have a Neon Tetra

Who has somehow got hiself stuck between a rock , I rescued him and he is not swimming properly and lost all his colour.

I think he wont survice and want to take him out of the fish tank.

I want to get rid of him but dont wish to hurt him?

What do i do?

HELP!

And i am not trying to mean by the way.

Sorry if you take it the wrong way.

I've heard some people use ice cold water I think that's one of the faster ways to put a fish down

Something that page doesn't mention in the submerge in freezing water section is, if you add salt (regular table salt is fine) to the water it will lower the temperature at which the water freezes. This allows the water to become MUCH colder without freezing solid.

Why not let him die a natural way; as soon as you see the cadaver you scoop it out. DON'T wait too long because they decompose fast. I am 85 and not swimming around all that much anymore, but would like to die a natural death too
