Any help would be appreciated I find the LEDs very confusing with depth lumens etc

I'm not really knowledgable with everything about LED's, but if it's a 4' tank, you would typically need 2 units, depending on what type of unit.

I have a 4ft tank but almost 3ft deep I run 3 which is 360 watts

I have mine about 10/11 from water all corals love them very little heat

And then same I had to pull them up because they are very strong

i have a 200 gallon tank and have 330 watts, white and blue leds, corals thriving, lights are about 8 to 10 inches above water, plenty of light at bottom.

made my own light to save money, the inside of my light has aluminum foil in it to reflect more light in

Long read but very nice thank you only problem now is getting the specs for lighting units
