How much will 160 gal of salt make?

I am ordering an RO/DI unit soon and just ordered a 160 gallon bucket of instant ocean salt. Any thoughts on (aprox) how many gallons of water this will make?

I know it will vary depending on SG, but ballpark?

About 160 gal...give or take a few gallons. I mix it about 1/2 cup per gallon of water and this gives me 1.025-1.026 SG.

A 160 bucket of salt means it is enough to make 160 gallons of saltwater @.23.

first-timer. I was thinking that was it, but you never know what SG they are working with. loganj - 1/2 cup fer gallon is good to know.
