How to plant java moss?

I'm trying to start a planted tank and i want to start with easy low light plants. I just purchased java moss and I have a piece of drift wood, but I have no idea how to plant it on the driftwood without it floating up.

Help would be appreciated please.

You can tie it with fishing line or cotton thread.

I just use a rubber band, a lot easier then having to try to get it tight with thread.

You can also glue it to the wood. Use aquarium safe glue.

Okay. And is it the glue safer and easier?

I have always used thread and wrapped it around the wood and Java fern if I couldn't find a crack in the wood that would hold the plant. I have heard that you can use superglue or Krazy glue with no problems in the aquarium but not sure how that exactly works?
