Ich?

No white spots or anything but one of my clowns is brushing against the side of the tank. note- this is kind of close to where they sleep couple inches or so. is it them hosting or early signs of ich?

Sounds like hosting. Mine host an area of sand and they do that all the time. It irratates me because they send sand everywhere...oh well.

side note- all water parameters are fine at 0. and they are not rubbing on rocks etc just like a 3x3 spot on the side of the tank.it is a kind of aggressive rub. sergie I hope your right!

Just watch them closely. If they start to develope sugar or salt sized white spots that "pimple" out then yes you have ich. But if they don't show spots and haven't shown spots then I'd say you're ok. Look near the gills and on the fins. Clowns are weird and do weird things. Mine have done that since I acquired them about 5 months ago.
