ID please :}

I'm almost done putting togather my tank and cycling, before I put anything important in there though I want to ID these things so I don't have to hassle with keeping stuff alive white I'm trying to kill stuff. The white thingy I just saw today, it worries me the most because it seemed to pop up over night. I probably just missed yesterday but I don't know how...It kinda sticks out and is in a really visible spot in the tank. The red spiky ball is one of many on this piece of lr. It seems harmless, I'm just curious as to what it is.

The red thing is a foraminiferan. Harmless detrius eater. The other two pics are q-tip sponges. Filter feeders but again, harmless.
