I would like to put a eel in my tank any suggestions or concerned do you think this is a good idea

If you have a 125 you could get a zebra eel. It'll knock over stuff and eat inverts but won't touch a fish. I currently have a black edge moray in my tank but others predators. Mines a reef also.

I would suggest a small snowflake. I have one that's doing pretty well in my 75 gallon. Once he got settled he didn't knock anything over. And I only have snails and large hermits. He doesn't eat them very often but I could imagine shrimp could be an issue.

Also keep in mind that eels are messy eaters. An eel will not do well with things like SPS corals, since they need pristine water conditions. Things should be ok with softies and some LPS.

Yeah I would say that when. I had my zebra eel he was pretty mellow. But it's the feeding that concerned me.
